Our church is part of the Nazarene Church which comes with several core beliefs we stand behind. We offer plenty of options for services for you and your family to attend.

Caravan Ministry

A ministry that's similar to boy/girl scouts - but Biblically based. Children learn, have fun and earn sashes, scarves and badges just like the scouting programs. For ages 4 through grade 6.

Pastor Anthony and Lorrie Agresta

Hello! We are Pastor Anthony Agresta and Lorrie Agresta. We currently reside in Boardman and are blessed with four children—Aaron and Celeste, who also live in Boardman, and Micah and Sarah, who are in Louisiana. We are grateful grandparents to Adelynn, Austin, Milayna, Tate, and Ezra.

Anthony has served as a teacher and school administrator and currently works as an Athletic Director and Coach. Lorrie works as an Administrative Assistant. Together, we have also served as missionaries with YWAM, ministering both in the United States and overseas. We are excited to join this wonderful church community and share in God’s work with you all!

We have attended the Nazarene Church since childhood and have traditional Christian music in our blood!

We're so thrilled to be used by the Lord in the music department at LaCroft! With traditional and contemporary music in our Sunday worship services - we can offer the best music possible for both tastes and we pray that everyone who attends our services will be blessed by the music.

Zach Byers

I’ve been playing music since 2000 and currently enjoy playing guitar, drums, and piano. Since 2002, I’ve had the privilege of serving on various youth groups and worship teams across Ohio and Pennsylvania, using music to help others connect in worship. My family and I have been attending Lacroft Church of the Nazarene since 2012, where I’m an active member of the church board. I’m blessed to share life with my wife, Tricia, and our two children, Zach and Morgan, and I’m thankful for every opportunity to serve and grow alongside our church family. I count it as a blessing to serve our Lord and savior and spread his message through worship.

OUR BELIEFS

The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the denomination is now home to about 2.5 million members worshipping in more than 30,000 local congregations in 162 world areas.​

  • We believe in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
  • We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
  • We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
  • We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
  • We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
  • We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
